This form has been designed to provide an estimate of the quantity of solar power required to run a certain set of appliances (ie. loads). In the form below, please list the appliance you wish to run with your solar power system. Enter the power ratings; using the enclosed table for assistance. Then indicate the average number of hours each day that the appliance will run. If it is an appliance that is used only once per week, divide its run time by seven.

Choose the value corresponding to your location and enter in the space provided. For summer, add 1 to the value shown in the global pictorial. For winter, subtract the number by 1. Press 'tab' when finished and go to step # 3. Do not press the 'enter' key.
